Melrose Arts & Crafts Festival – June 11-12: The annual arts and crafts festival is held on the grounds of Melrose Plantation and showcases the work of more than 150 artists and craftsmen. This is a juried arts and crafts festival. Admission charged. Tours of the Main House and African House will be available for $5. The Plantation is located at 3533 Hwy. 119 in Melrose, LA 71452. Cane River Green Market: Natchitoches' only farmers market will be selling everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to handmade crafts. Activities include live entertainment and more. Free admission. Held on downtown riverbank from 8 a.m. to noon.
